Francis Scott Key came into the game off a 31-13 road win at South Hagerstown, its highest point total of the season. Friday's 12 points were the fewest the Eagles had scored through three games.

Francis Scott Key held an unbeaten opponent to its lowest score of the season and still came away without a win, the latest loss in a home streak now at seven games. At 1-2, the Eagles have lost two games by a total of four points.
