Jerry Palmerino is the founder, owner, editor, and lead photographer of PhotoSlammersMedia, an independent sports photography and event media outlet based in Maryland. What began as a deep personal commitment to visual storytelling in the sports world has grown into a credential-grade media operation built on professionalism, consistency, and editorial integrity. Jerry wears every hat at the outlet — from shooting on the sidelines and in the ring to making the editorial, branding, and operational decisions that shape how PhotoSlammersMedia presents itself to the world.
As a working photographer, Jerry specializes in live sports, professional wrestling, community athletics, and event coverage, as well as portrait and branding photography. His work spans high school and collegiate athletics, independent and professional wrestling promotions, and local community sporting events across the Maryland region. Whether he is capturing a decisive play under stadium lights or documenting the intensity of a professional wrestling card, his images are defined by timing, clarity, and a strong editorial eye. He is equally at home producing polished headshots and branding portraits for athletes, coaches, and organizations looking to elevate their visual presence.
Jerry shoots primarily with Nikon systems and brings an advanced, evidence-driven approach to every aspect of his craft. His technical knowledge runs deep — from autofocus configuration and lens selection to real-world AF tuning, post-processing workflow, and file delivery pipelines. He does not rely on guesswork or convention; he tests, evaluates, and refines his gear and technique based on measurable results.
