Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, Elijah and Moose closed out the final TNA Thursday Night iMPACT before Sunday’s Lockdown pay-per-view with a win over AJ Francis, Frankie Kazarian, Nic Nemeth and Ryan Nemeth, capping a six-match card built entirely around Sunday’s lineup at the Liacouras Center.
The show carried three storylines directly into Lockdown: the finalized Knockouts Television Championship tournament bracket, the advantage stipulation for the Lethal Lockdown cage match, and the standing conflict between TNA International Champion Jason Hotch and Mustafa Ali’s Order Four faction.
Rich Swann opened the card against the previously undefeated Mr. Elegance, ending that streak with a roll-up after Heather By Elegance’s ringside interference went unpunished. Jada Stone advanced to the Knockouts Television Championship tournament final with a win over Heather By Elegance, setting up a title match against M By Elegance, who defeated Indi Hartwell in last week’s other semifinal. Brian Myers beat Fabian Aichner in the Lethal Lockdown Advantage match, giving his team the right to send its second competitor into Sunday’s cage bout ahead of the opposing team’s second entrant.
The Hotch and Skyler match did not go as scheduled. Ali had ordered Skyler to face his former tag partner as a loyalty test, and both men worked a technical exchange before Order Four security, including Special Agent 0, attacked Hotch and brought the match to an early stoppage. Harley Hudson defeated Alisha Edwards in a match booked with Hudson’s roster spot on the line, a stipulation General Manager Daria Rae set following Hudson’s recent losing streak.

The main event doubled as a preview for three separate Lockdown matches: Hardys against Nemeths for the TNA World Tag Team Championships, Elijah against Francis, and Moose against Kazarian. Jeff Hardy pinned Francis with a Swanton Bomb after Matt Hardy set up the finish with a Twist of Fate, giving the champions momentum heading into Sunday’s title defense. The broadcast closed with Cedric Alexander shown laid out backstage, with no party identified.
TNA Lockdown airs Sunday, August 23, from Credit Union 1 Arena in Chicago, Illinois, marking the event’s return after a decade off the schedule. Every match on the card is contested inside a steel cage. The pay-per-view includes Hotch defending the International Championship against Ali and the Hardys defending the World Tag Team Championships against the Nemeths, with Xia Brookside putting the Knockouts World Championship on the line against Elayna Black in a separate cage bout. The Lethal Lockdown match pits Myers, Bear Bronson, Eddie Edwards and Alisha Edwards against Aichner, Ricky Sosa, KC Navarro and Jada Stone.
