TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth defeated Jeff Hardy in the main event of Thursday Night Impact at the Liacouras Center, retaining the title with a Danger Zone after blocking a Swanton Bomb attempt with his knees up.
The match capped a night that reshaped the Lockdown card. TNA confirmed a new International Championship match, a stipulation-heavy X-Division rematch, an eight-person Lethal Lockdown bout returning after a decade off the schedule, and a cage match pulled from an AJ Francis vignette gone wrong.
Nemeth controlled the opening stretch of the main event before Hardy shifted momentum with a clothesline off the ring apron. Hardy scored a 2.9 count with a sit-out powerbomb and followed with a Twist of Fate attempt, which Nemeth answered with a superkick. Hardy countered a Danger Zone attempt with a cutter, then connected with the Swanton, but Nemeth got his knees up in time. Nemeth escaped a second Twist of Fate attempt and hit the Danger Zone for the pin at the fourteen minute mark, a finish commentary framed against the fact that Nemeth had never beaten Hardy before.
Order 4 fell to BDE, Rich Swann, and a returning Trey Miguel in six man tag action, with Miguel scoring the win off a Lightning Spiral. Mustafa Ali directed Special Agent Zero to keep attacking Miguel after the bell, and TNA International Champion Jason Hotch ran in for the save. The promotion made Hotch’s title defense against Ali official for Lockdown immediately after.
In the Knockouts Television Championship tournament, M By Elegance advanced to the final over Indi Hartwell. A ringside brawl between Xia Brookside and Elayna Black spilled into the match and pulled Hartwell’s attention away long enough for M By Elegance to land a moonsault for the pin. M By Elegance will meet Jada Stone or Heather By Elegance in the final.
KC Navarro defeated Eddie Edwards, hitting Blessing in Disguise after Alisha Edwards and a kendo stick both factored into the finish. The System went after Navarro once the bell rang, and Ricky Sosa, Fabian Aichner, and Jada Stone ran in to clear them out. Santino Marella followed with an announcement: Lethal Lockdown returns for the first time in ten years, with Navarro, Aichner, Sosa, and Stone facing Edwards, Brian Myers, Bear Bronson, and Alisha Edwards at Lockdown.
Ricky Sosa opened the show with a win over Myers, who leaned on ringside interference from Bear Bronson throughout the match. Sosa fought off an attempt by Cedric Alexander to get involved, but Bronson’s distractions still let Myers connect with a DDT for a near fall. Myers reached for the X-Division Championship as a weapon, but Leon Slater appeared and grabbed the title before Myers could use it, and the distraction let Sosa land the Head Shot for the pin. Slater and Alexander closed the segment by setting up a Lockdown rematch, with Slater’s championship reign erased from the record if he loses.
Moose delivered his Face of the Franchise speech wearing a Frankie Kazarian scarf and sunglasses, drawing Kazarian out for a heated exchange that ended in a brawl broken up by security. The two are already booked for an Escape the Cage match at Lockdown. Moose was later found unconscious backstage, with no attacker identified before the show went off the air.

AJ Francis meets Elijah in a steel cage after a vignette segment turned into a direct confrontation. Jada Stone faces Heather By Elegance in the second semi-final of the Knockouts Television Title tournament Thursday. The Finals will crown the first Knockouts Television Champion. Moose and Kazarian settle their issue inside a cage.
