TNA Impact aired on AMC and TNA+ from the Liacouras Center on August 6, headlined by Xia Brookside successfully defending the TNA Knockouts World Championship against Wendy Choo, along with a contract signing between Nic Nemeth and Jeff Hardy ahead of their TNA World Championship match.
The broadcast also featured continued action in the TNA Knockouts Television Championship tournament, a singles win for Matt Hardy over Ryan Nemeth, and a disqualification finish that led to a tag team match restructuring later in the show.
Brookside retained her title against Choo with a Darkside for the pinfall in the show’s main event. Following the match, Elayna Black entered the ring and stared down the champion, setting up a confrontation for a future date.
Matt Hardy defeated Ryan Nemeth by pinfall with the Twist of Fate. The finish followed ringside interference, as Jeff Hardy engaged Nic Nemeth outside the ring during the closing sequence.
Heather By Elegance defeated Mara Sadé by pinfall with a missile dropkick in a TNA Knockouts Television Championship tournament quarterfinal. The win advances Heather to the semifinal round against Jada Stone.
KC Navarro and Brian Myers were originally scheduled for singles competition. That match ended in disqualification after Eddie Edwards interfered on Myers’ behalf. TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella restarted the segment as a tag team match, adding Fabian Aichner alongside Navarro and Edwards alongside Myers. The System, comprised of Myers and Edwards, won that follow-up bout by pinfall with a package piledriver.
AJ Francis was defeated by The Home Town Man via roll-up following a ringside distraction from Elijah.
Nic Nemeth and Jeff Hardy completed a contract signing for their upcoming TNA World Championship match, with both competitors signing before the segment closed the broadcast.

Nemeth and Hardy are scheduled to meet for the TNA World Championship in an upcoming match, with their respective brothers set for a TNA World Tag Team Championship bout at Lockdown.
